Most of our customers know that Exodus Road Hobbies has been a 2 man business for the last couple of years. Lawgiver and myself have been trying our best to keep the shelves stocked and customers happy.
Well, the winds of change have come and my time with the store is at a crossroads. Non-store related issues have been slowly growing both in number and in size in my life, and after months and several long hard discussions with my wife, the decision was made that it is time for me to step back and re-evaluate.
My partner, Lawgiver, and I are devoted Christian men. We have tried to run our store with Christian principles, especially in regards to wealth versus debt. Well, with my change in personal status, it is going to temporarily bring change to the store too.
I am selling off my portion of the product lines sold from this store. As such, orders from these product lines are currently set to only what we have in stock. We will not be making any restock orders on these lines for a short period of time while he and I figure out exactly how my change is going to affect him and ERH. Lawgiver will try to re-add them as he can, but to do so at the level of debt acrued to buy out my half it would be unfair and against our principles to ask him to do so.
If you want to special order something from the product lines included here, Lawgiver will try his best to make it happen for you, as we still want to keep our customers happy.
I will still be hanging out on the site. Just because my personal environment is changing, it does not mean that I have to become a hermit or anything like that.

| Exodus Road Hobbies Painting Contest!!!

It's once again time to have another painting challenge,
the second of hopefully four painting contests for the year.
With the recent rash of miniatures, the release of a movie,
and even its own national day of recognition, we figured
what better theme than that of PIRATES!
The contest will run from July 15th through Sep. 19th (National
Talk like a Pirate Day). At the close of the contest, voting
will commence for one week. Voting isanonymous and you may
leave comments and critiques, which we have found our previous
entrants have greatly enjoyed. After the voting, announcements
will be made and prizes sent to the winners.
Based on our theme, your miniature must be of piratey flair
or faction. We have come up with several sub categories
to better match your entry with like entries for fair judgement.
The categories for the contest are:
- Salty Dog - Human and humanoid pirates of the male persuasion.
- Saucy Wenches - female pirates of course.
- Shiver me timbers - For all things sci fi and big stompies.
Yes there are such things as space pirates.
- Bilge Rats - monster pirates, exotic sea creatures and big ugly shiphands.
- 16 men on a dead man's chest - We are going to have a
special category related to diaromas. Multiple models involved.

What can we say, real life happens. Our site makeover is taking way longer than expected. But, that is okay. It was a necessary evil to help us in the long run. The forum should be functioning normally now. Just needs a lot more tweaking with the graphics. Welcome or welcome back to our site. Please make yourself at home, and take note of the subtle changes to the interface as they happen over the next week.
Note that since we have moved our forums to a new location on our site, you might need to update your favorites, also you mighthave to go in and delete your old cookie to our site.
